Unexpected challenges, but friendly faces
After a long day at Emory, I was welcomed by cheerful staff and a comfortable king room. The peaceful atmosphere was refreshing.
The nearby area's noise and parking availability were disappointing. It would have been better to have a clearer view of the surroundings and more space to park.

Had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the comfy beds and tasty breakfast spread. I loved chilling by the outdoor pool and soaking up the sun after a long day. Just a heads up, the room needed a bit more cleaning attention, but it didn't take away from my overall experience 🌞

Large, clean room. Very friendly staff. Free parking and wifi. Great fitness facility for travelers.
Shower bath/faucet awkward to use. Small details, like broken light switch on lamp, poor quality closet doors.

Clean, good parking and location. Cookies were good, attractive. Hilton is always a good place to stay
Pool was closed. Not mentioned in reviews. Man at check in was "short" with me. I gave name and he said we didn't have reservation, I showed him the confirmation and he said that he didn't know about a third party reservation and then almost immediately said yes here it is. Then, who was (name on reservation) and then said where is he, he needs to come in here. Okay, no problem but I felt like I had done something that was wrong. I didn't let that affect me though because I wondered what kind of day he had had and if I had contributed to this response.

The hotel is easy to find, right off the highway. Check in was easy.
We arrived late night and the front desk person was assisting another customer. They exchanged some heated words and surprisingly the front desk person was rude and retorted with smart remarks to the young woman. It was not a good first impression. We then proceeded upstairs to a room that seemed better suited to be a storage closet because it was wedged in the corner and I could barely maneuver my suitcase through the front door, into the narrow hall and even narrow entrance to the bedroom. Although I did request a featherless room, there were no blankets on the bed. Also, what happened to the DoubleTree cookies? We both agreed we would not return to this location and would choose another hotel the next time.

I had to change the dates of my stay through Booked.net, but the hotel did not seem to know anything about the change, Terrance got it worked out at the desk.

The doubletree by hilton has a great atmosphere. The location is near north druid hills, which has plenty of restaurants and shops. The gym was spacious and well-equipped. I loved the efficient valet service for parking, and my king room was very comfortable and clean. It was nice to walk around the beautiful area outside too.
